Yllza is studying Sustainability, Institutions and Management at University of Glasgow, and joined us for a Summer Hospitality placement in the UK, in summer 2024.

Why did you choose to do a Summer Hospitality placement in the UK?
I wanted to do something different for the summer season.
How did you first discover us?
Through university portal.
Were you finding it hard to find a placement?
Yes, it was quite hard.
Did you think this was unachievable on your own?
I think so.

How easy was the process getting your placement with our help?
It was very easy.
Yllza worked in the Michelin star restaurant of a 5 star hotel for the summer of 2024. A Summer Hospitality placement in the UK pays a full UK salary and gives great experience a nd training during the summer holidays

What are you doing for your placement?
Food and Beverage Trainee in a restaurant at a London-based 5 star hotel.
What skills or knowledge have you gained so far during your placement?
Multitasking, communication skills, time management and similar.
Did you find it difficult adapting to a new working environment?
No!
Have you received good support & advice from your work colleagues at the host company?
Yes, my colleagues are very helpful.
How has your placement helped you develop as a person so far?
It made this summer very pleasant.

Preparing me for the interview and arranging the placement.
What do you think we can improve?
Nothing I can think of right now.
